Remember The Miners

On April 5, 2010, 29 miners in southern West Virginia lost their lives. While we will never be able to bring back the fallen miners, their memory will still live on through their families.

Over the course of Memorial Day weekend, we asked you to "Remember the Miners." And to date, over 5,000 of you have done just that by becoming a fan of Remember the Miners on Facebook.

Mission

As our mission carries on, we are asking our existing fans for their continued support by:

Contributing directly to the Upper Big Branch Family Fund with your online donation
Memorializing the brave miners lost in the April 5th tragedy by purchasing Remember the Miners t-shirts and water bottles
(with proceeds going to the Upper Big Branch Family Fund)
Enlisting colleagues, friends and family to become a fan of Remember the Miners on Facebook
Joining our mailing list to stay up to date on Remember the Miners news

The Upper Big Branch Family Fund was created by WVU Basketball Coach Bob Huggins and a group of young people from across West Virginia to help the children and families of the 29 miners lost in the tragic accident in Montcoal, WV.
